Why am I still single? The fallacy of being a high performance high-achiever
I can tell you why you're still single. π
Hands down, the MOST common reason I see that smart, driven, ambitious, and successful people like you struggle to find long-lasting love is because they're focused on....everything else in their lives.
Navigating work, colleagues, co-founders, exits, sales, quotas.
Buying assets, homes, investments.
Traveling, conferences, seeing the world.
Networking, meeting friends, family.
Everything is conscious, intentional, and planned. Optimised. Sorted.
It's honestly impressive.
And then when it comes to dating...it's the opposite.
It's a total car-crash half the time.
No real attention, no concentrated time, minimal thought put into what they're doing. It's about just having 'fun' and 'putting themselves out there' or maybe hitting despair and then paying for a matchmaker.
I hate to say it, but the only common denominator in your dating life is you.
Without taking even a bit of time to hold up a mirror to where you're self sabotaging, that pattern will just continue. Ask me how I know. π
And whilst matchmaking can work wonders, if you haven't done the inner work to prepare for long-lasting love...how are you so sure your match will want you?
This βjust keep swiping/going on dates and hope it will work out at some point' is honestly a waste of time. And money.
You can be going on endless 'fun' dates for years and still not meet your ultimate match. OR meet someone that seems decent but then years down the line realise you're fundamentally not aligned. The long term cost is pretty brutal. Time, money, heartache, despair...on repeat.
Meanwhile someone else took a few weeks to check themselves and look at where they might be self-sabotaging, sorted it out, cleaned their side of the street, and meet their match within a few months.
I know this is true because it ...just is. It works. It's worked for me, it's worked for countless others. It's not rocket science - it's just...science.
Email me with 'show me the science' if any of this resonates with you and I'll be glad to chat.
