I get it – I’ve been there.

From launching my own business aged 17 and then again at 23 and 32, to my 15+ year sales career extending across 6 countries and 3 industries, my entire career has been built on the back of having to navigate relationships.

I know first hand how hard it can be.

I also know that when we feel frustrated, tired, triggered a lot, and like we’re struggling with certain people, it’s a sure sign that we’ve got some unconscious blocks running the show.

It’s impossible to thrive at work when these blocks are playing out. You have to get rid of them.

Did you know?

  • Our unconscious blocks affect the way we perform in the workplace. This is because our work environments include social relationships and social dynamics.

  • John Bowlby’s attachment theory, where a lot of the unconscious blocks stem from, our attachment styles, has been studied in the workplace by Hazan and Shaver (1990). They discovered that the same attachment dynamics we see in family and intimate partnerships play oued in people’s relationships with coworkers and leaders.

  • When these unconscious blocks, many of which originate from our attachment wounds, play out in our professional dynamics, work productivity declines - significantly.

  • It’s almost impossible to have a high-performing culture when the team are operating with dysfunctional dynamics and maladaptive strategies.

  • Conflict, tension, miscommunication, poor productivity, low quality of work are all to be expected. Attrition is inevitable.
